Death of a friendship is an alla Prima study of two Victorian skulls positioned in close proximity. Taking inspiration from Victor Hugo’s - the Hunchback of Notre Dame in which two are intertwined in Death. However if you wanted to be more cynical Friendships can change and some don’t last but that’s life.
