It all begins with a mark on paper, a line, a smudge of graphite / charcoal.

Hannah over the last few years has started to use charcoal as one of her main mediums. She uses a technique of painting the charcoal on to the paper, it entails pushing the charcoal into the paper until it is fully intergrated within the fibres. It is a long process but gives a unique finish to the art work.
